Finding the Manage Event console
Learn how to navigate to your tournament management console from your host dashboard or public event page on TopSeed.
The Manage Event console is the administrative hub for your tournament on TopSeed. From here, event hosts review player registrations, create and publish draws, enter scores, invite participants, and manage event settings.
1. Access from your host dashboard
If you are signed in and viewing your home dashboard:
- Sign in to TopSeed and go to your dashboard (click Home or navigate to
/protected). - Locate your tournament card under the events you are hosting.
- Click the three dots menu (...) in the top right corner of the event card.
- Select Manage Event from the dropdown menu to open the console.
2. Access from the public event page
If you are already on your tournament's public details page (/events/[slug]):
- Confirm you are signed in with the host account that created the tournament or as an authorized co-host.
- Look at the primary action button in the tournament header strip:
- In most phases, TopSeed displays a prominent Manage Event button next to your tournament title.
- If the event is in a phase with another primary action (such as generating pending draws), click the ... (More actions) menu button in the header strip and select Manage Event.
- Clicking Manage Event immediately takes you to your event console.
3. Direct URL navigation
You can also navigate directly to the console at any time by entering the URL in your browser:
https://topseed.ai/events/[your-event-slug]/manage
TopSeed automatically redirects /events/[slug]/manage to the Overview tab at /events/[slug]/manage/overview.
4. Console tabs and quick actions
Once in the Manage Event console, you will find three main navigation tabs and quick action controls:
- Overview (
/events/[slug]/manage/overview). Displays key tournament metrics, participant counts, and the Quick Actions bar (for hosts, this includes Edit Event, Share, and Invite Players; non-host administrators see Share). Below the overview card, tournament creators also have access to a separate, collapsible danger-zone section to cancel or permanently delete the event. - Registrations (
/events/[slug]/manage/registrations). View and filter your full tournament roster, inspect payment and partner statuses, manually withdraw entrants, or invite new players. See Manage registrations. - Draws (
/events/[slug]/manage/draws). Configure draw brackets, review seedings, generate schedules, and manage match progression. See Generate the draw and bracket. - View event page. Click the top-right link to open your tournament's public details page in a new tab. Because your browser session remains signed in as a host, the page continues to show host action controls; open the link in a private or signed-out window to preview the tournament page as an anonymous visitor or spectator.
- Ask AI for hosts. Click Ask AI in the navigation bar to open the AI assistant at
/chat, where hosts can ask questions about tournament entries, request schedule updates, or instruct the assistant to generate draws and post brackets. See What Ask AI can do for hosts.
