How and when you get paid
Players pay TopSeed at registration. TopSeed sends you your share after your event ends.
TopSeed collects every registration payment on your behalf. You never handle cards, refunds or chargebacks yourself. After your event ends, TopSeed sends your share to the Stripe payout account you connected in payout setup.
What you receive
Your share is the entry fees you set for each draw, less two things:
- Card processing costs. Standard card processing costs charged by payment networks come out of your share.
- Refunds you issued. A player withdrawn before the registration deadline gets a full refund. The processing cost of that refunded payment stays with you.
Two things are never part of your share. The platform fee players pay on each draw belongs to TopSeed. Sales tax collected on registrations goes to the tax authority.
When you are paid
- Your event reaches its end date.
- TopSeed holds your share for seven days after that date to cover late withdrawals and card disputes.
- TopSeed then sends the transfer to your Stripe payout account, normally within two weeks of the end date.
- Stripe deposits it in your bank account on its usual payout schedule, typically a few business days later.
You need Payouts enabled on your Preferences page for step 3 to happen. If setup is not finished, TopSeed keeps holding your share until it is.
TopSeed does not show a payout history yet. To see what Stripe has sent to your bank account, open Preferences and click Manage in Stripe (Set up payouts with Stripe). If you need a statement for an event, email support@topseed.ai with the event link.
After you are paid
If a refund or chargeback lands after your payout, TopSeed recovers the amount from the payout it already sent to your Stripe account. If that is not possible, we record the difference and contact you to settle it. Cancelled events are not paid out. Players are refunded instead.
